Lady Gaga Slams Die Antwoord in Twitter Row

Lady Gaga and Die Antwoord

Lady Gaga has blasted Die Antwoord over Twitter. The "Born This Way" singer was outraged at the South African duo's new song "Fatty Boom Boom" which makes fun of the pop star and her eccentric stage performances.

The video features a man dressed in Gaga's iconic meat dress taking a violent sightseeing trip around Johannesburg, before giving birth to a prawn and being mauled by a lion on the street. The 26-year-old singer hit back at the controversial rappers in a tweet which parodies their song lyrics, saying, "i fink u freaky but you don't have a hit. hundred thousand tickets sold in SA. #thatsmys**t... i guess its not a good idea to tell someone you're a fan. never mind! we get it, you're not a little monster. (sic)"

Lady Gaga Plans a Jazz Album

Lady GagaLady Gaga is planning a jazz album with Tony Bennett.

The "Judas" singer previously teamed with the crooner for a version of "The Lady is a Tramp" from his Duets II album and they enjoyed working together so much, they want to record a whole album.

"Of all things, she called me from New Zealand and said, 'I want to do a jazz album with you' and I said, 'You got it!' We're gonna do a jazz album with Marion Evans, a big swing band, and I'm looking forward to it because a lot of people don't know it, but she's a phenomenal jazz singer," Tony told Rolling Stone.

Tony has picked which songwriter they will record the compositions of, but isn't letting on who it is yet. "I can't mention the composer because I don't want anybody to do it before we do it, but there's a great composer that's very underrated, very famous, but not as famous as Gershwin or Porter. But he did as many hit songs as anybody, and so we're gonna do a big swinging album," he added.

Adele Slams Pop Stars Who Rely on Sex

Posted by Andru Edwards Categories: Gossip, Pop, R&B / Soul,

AdeleAdele has criticized pop stars who use sex to sell records.

The pregnant "Someone Like You" hitmaker has slammed her chart rivals - who include Rihanna, Madonna and Lady Gaga - who strip off in their videos to promote themselves and insists most female singers look very different in real life to how they look on screen.

"They don't look how they do in magazines or videos. I have seen them up close. Exploiting yourself sexually is not a good look. I don't find it encouraging," she said.

Adele has always had a fuller figure but she insists she would never go on a diet or change her image to try and be more successful. The 24-year-old singer - whose last album 21 has sold over 23 million copies worldwide - prefers to just let her music define her. "I have never seen magazine covers and music videos and thought, 'I need to look like that to be a success.' To sell more records I don't need to go that. I just stand there and sing. I'm not worried that I'm a 'plus size' and so much bigger than other artists. No matter what you look like the key is to be happy with yourself," she is quoted as saying.

Lady Gaga Releasing a New Single

Lady GagaLady Gaga is releasing a new track, "Partynauseous," next month. The song is a collaboration between the "Born This Way" hitmaker and rap star Kendrick Lamar.

"I am so excited to announce that a record I've been working on has now become a collaboration with Kendrick Lamar for HIS ALBUM (sic). Kendrick Lamar and I are dropping the record September 6. It's called 'Partynauseous,'" she wrote on her Twitter.

Gaga explained her part of the song is based on an incident earlier this year, when she was banned from performing in Jakarta, Indonesia, on her "Born This Way Ball" tour after hardline extremists in the Muslim country complained her sexy clothes and dance routines would corrupt young people. "I wrote 'PARTYNAUSEOUS' about Jakarta, and my relationship with that country (sic). Wishing I could 'get high with the enemy' and make peace (sic). Once @kendricklamar + I started talking about life + his forward thinking views about love + hip hop, the song became something more (sic)," she added.
